About

A new name. The same two towns.

Root to Rise grew out of Inspiration is Everywhere — a Mashpee and Falmouth effort to make sure neighbors could get the care that actually fit. The work got clearer. The mission got smaller, on purpose.

A recovery community circle under Cape Cod oak trees

Why we renamed it

Inspiration is Everywhere was a wide door. Root to Rise is a specific one: people in recovery, the families standing with them, and the Cape Cod towns they already live in. We kept the hospitality. We sharpened the offer — coaching, meals, work, and a human being who knows how to find the rest.

The Upper Cape is generous and stretched at the same time. Treatment exists. Meetings exist. Food pantries exist. What often does not exist is someone who will sit with you long enough to make a plan and then still be there on Thursday. That is the gap we fill.

Mission

Root to Rise walks with people in recovery on Cape Cod — offering coaching, meals, work, and a clear path to the resources that make a life possible.

Dignity first

We talk to adults like adults. Recovery is hard enough without being managed.

Show up

A breakfast table that is actually set. A coach who actually calls back. Consistency is the intervention.

Community over isolation

The opposite of addiction is not abstinence. It is connection — in two small towns that still know each other's names.

Practical help

Meals, rides, job leads, a warm introduction. Hope without a plan is just a speech.
