Recovery Breakfast

A plate. A chair. A coach in the room.

The Recovery Breakfast Program meets at Cape Island Cafe in Falmouth. It is the most reliable way to find Root to Rise in person — and the kindest way to start a hard morning.

Why a breakfast

Mornings are when a lot of recovery either holds or slips. A meal is not a metaphor. It is calories, caffeine, and twenty minutes in a room where nobody is asking you to perform gratitude. If you want to talk, a coach is already there. If you want to eat and leave, that is also the program.

Vice President James Sweet helps keep this table set. If the cafe is the front door, the rest of Root to Rise — meals out, job leads, training, resource maps — is what you walk into after the second cup.

What to expect

  1. 01

    Walk in

No ID, no referral, no speech at the door. Tell the counter you are here for Root to Rise.

  2. 02

    Eat

Sit down. The point is the plate. Conversation is optional and never required as payment.

  3. 03

    Ask, if you want

Coaching is free and on site. So is help finding a meeting, a clinic, a job, or another meal.
